Dr. Okey Prince Okey

Board Member, Firm Health Care Foundation | Medical Officer | Public Health Advocate | Emergency Care Specialist

Dr. Okey Prince Okey is a dedicated and result-driven medical doctor with a passion for accessible, efficient, and quality healthcare delivery, especially in underserved communities. With over six years of clinical experience spanning primary, secondary, and emergency health care systems in Nigeria, Dr. Okey brings both hands-on expertise and strategic insight to the Board of Firm Health Care Foundation.

A graduate of Imo State University, where he earned his MBBS, Dr. Okey has served in reputable health institutions including Federal Medical Center Yenagoa, Sana Clinic Abuja, Badore Primary Health Centre, Belmedicare Hospital, and Upsiloncare Clinic, Lagos. He currently practices as a Medical Officer, offering general and emergency care, maternal and child health services, and community-based health interventions.

He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association, underscoring his emergency triage proficiency. A strong advocate for continuous professional development, Dr. Okey also holds a certificate in Microsoft Office applications, enhancing his ability to manage data-driven health programs and reports.

Throughout his career, he has actively championed youth engagement, health advocacy, and leadership development. He held multiple leadership roles in the Nigerian Medical Students’ Association (NIMSA) and IMSU Medical Students Association (IMSUMSA), where he spearheaded reproductive health awareness, capacity-building events, and inter-campus collaborations.

Dr. Okey is a proud member of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) and continues to lend his voice and skills to causes that improve health outcomes in Nigeria. As a board member at Firm Health Care Foundation, he brings a blend of clinical excellence, community passion, and leadership experience to shape the foundation’s impact-driven health programs.

When he’s not saving lives or shaping health policy, Dr. Okey enjoys traveling, reading, playing video games, and exploring new ideas through online research.
